The King Of My Life

I sat outside in the veranda, my Bible was on my thigh. There was a cup of a morning tea on the tea table in front of me. Cool morning breeze was so comforting. I was reading Mark chapter 15 as my daily morning devotion. I read up to verse 12 and that made me to stop there and then several things started coming to my mind as I was meditating on that portion of Scripture, rather on the incident of Jesus before the Pilate.

I was more attracted to the question he asked to all people who were waiting to hear his judgment, “And Pilate answered and said again unto them, ‘what will ye then I shall do unto him whom ye called the King of Jews?’” (Mark 15;12).

As I was silently waiting on the Lord to hear from Him. He whispered in my ears.

“What are you doing with King of your life?” I never thought on this question at any time, and it amazed me to hear such a question. He continued, “It is not only enough to confess Christ Jesus as your Savior, Lord and King of your life, but what do you do with the King of your life thereafter is most important.”

“Are you letting him increase in your life? Are you lifting him high in your life? Are you honoring him by applying costliest oil on his head? Are you following him wholeheartedly carrying your cross? Are you selling him? Are you crucifying him again? What do you do with Jesus, whom you have accepted as the King of your life?”

This is high time for us to answer these questions to ourselves and GIVE CHRIST JESUS HIS DUE FIRST PLACE IN OUR LIVES, ACKNOWLEDGING HIM IN EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES, REALIZING THAT WE ARE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST, NEVERTHELESS WE LIVE, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN AND THROUGH US!

May our good Lord continue to bless you and your family! Prema and I love you so dearly and pray for you daily! Write us for we love to hear from you!

Remember, Jesus is Lord and take with you the Word of God and Faith, excellent traveling Comanions. (Psalms 119:105; II Corinthians 5:7).
