Isaiah 9:6 – The Best Support Team Eternally

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;

and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 ESV)

The most powerful leaders in the world pay a fortune for consultants with qualities like these. And they can easily be bought by someone else who offers a higher payment for their skills.

By simply accepting Jesus Christ into your life, and honestly and permanently live your life in HIS Way, these wonderful empowerment qualities are added to you eternally.

You need not be the master of your ship that runs aground in stormy waters. What more do you need than a Wonderful Counsellor that can guide every step of your daily decision making?

The tiny baby Jesus grew up to become the Mighty God that no enemy could stand against. I once heard a little boy who doubted the Might of God. Even after a lot of convincing, he still had a question: “Is Baby Jesus really stronger than the dinosaurs?” Yes He is!

We all have tales to tell about our fathers and grandfathers. But alas, we reach the age where we move away from home and this bond weakens. Fathers are often busy and work away from home for lengthy periods of time, or there is the family with an absent father. In all these cases children feel the deep emotional pain of a life without a father. However, God is not only our Father. He is our Everlasting Father. What peace and consolation does it bring that your Father is for keeps. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can stand in the way between your bonding and relationship with your Heavenly Father.

Very few people are born into a noble family. And a noble family with a character like Peace is even rarer. Yet God gives us the opportunity to have this Prince of Peace in our midst. He teaches us these values of harmony and respect for the dignity of others. He gives you inner peace in your heart, no matter what you are facing.

The coming of Jesus encompasses this amazing, eternal support team of qualities and stays an evergreen gift to you. Embrace Him anew this festive season.

Dear Lord, we thank You for the mercy You have bestowed on us. Grant us Your grace by sending Jesus to the Earth with qualities comprising the best evergreen support team qualities one needs. SR
